The Rotunda of Carcar City, Cebu

In the heart of the Shoe Capital and the Heritage City of Cebu, Carcar City, nestles a historical rotunda.
The roundabout is believed to be a hub where ancestors of Carcar had settled to avoid assaults in Valladolid. During the administration of Mayor Mariano Mercado, a kiosk was built inside the rotunda.
The rotunda maneuvers vehicles to Barili to the west, San Fernando to the north, and Sibonga to the south.
It is also considered to be the busiest street in the city considering that the public market is just a stone-throw away. Check out some photos below.
