Santo Entierro Carozza - Holy Week Procession
The Carozza of the Santo Entierro, known as the Holy Burial but locally termed as "Haya". The family-in-charge of this carozza had kept this tradition for more than 50 years since it was first started by our ancestors, our great grand parents. The carozza's color had been changed through-out the years. It first started as black, then gold, and for the first time last year, it was painted white but the form of the carozza has been preserved ever since.

Last year, I was able to lead the flock in decorating. I suggested that for 2013 Holy Week Procession, the carozza's theme will be all-white making it very holy and heavenly to look at. The green and white combination makes the carozza very neat on every angles. It was decorated with white mums, chrysanthemums and anthuriums. Taken in San Fernando, Cebu. More photos below.
