Nazareno Carozza - Holy Week Procession
Wednesday, March 12, 2014
The Carozza of the life-size statue of Jesus Christ carrying the cross, popularly known as the Nazareno, is well decorated with various light-colored flowers resting on its feet and around the corners. There are yellow chrysanthemums surrounded with red anthuriums accented with little white flowers.
For this year's Holy Week, the family-in-charge of the carozza get rid of their traditional decoration replicating the stone-like flooring making it like the rocks in the Calvary. The statue is dressed with red velvet robe accented with gold sequins embroidered to the fabric.
Taken in San Fernando, Cebu, PH during the Holy Tuesday - Procesión de los Pasos.
