Make your candles burn longer even for hours. I've tried this at home and it's really effective.
I had lighted this one for 2 straight hours but it can still be lighted for additional 3 hours or even longer.
Amazing, isn't it? Here's how.
1. Place a candle in the middle of the glass by melting its bottom. I suggest you use a candle that's about 3/4 of the height of the glass. This would prevent the flame to be disturbed by the wind. You can also use empty bottles of mayonnaise or other commercial products. Make sure it's not made of plastic or else it will be burned by the flame.
2. Place a little amount of salt inside the glass and around the candle. The salt will help the wick of the candle to burn slowly.
3. Pour oil inside the glass leaving about enough length of the wick of the candle. Make sure you don't wet the wick of the candle or else you will have hard time of lighting the candle. You can use cooking oil even those you have already used in the kitchen.
There you go! You're candle is ready. You can light it anytime when you're ready.
