Situated in an ancestral house in Basak-Pardo, Cebu City, Jumalon Butterfly Sanctuary and Art Gallery offers an amazing tour ranging from paintings to collections. You don't just get to see thousands of butterflies around the world, you get to see art near to perfection! Was amazed by the museum-worth butterfly collection, egg collection, coin collection, lepido-mosaic paintings - a way of painting introduced by Prof. Juan Jumalon using the wings of the butterflies.

It was a fun-filled experience though I came to the sanctuary alone but was never lonely! I enjoyed the pleasure of going somewhere I've never been with the company of myself.
